Blizzard 2011
Is everyone dug out yet? I don't think we would have been had it not for our neighbor having a bobcat and helping us. They didn't blade this road for a couple of days.
As for me, I spent the entire two days before it hit and the day of the bizzard cooking because of my fear of losing power. I don't have any backup heat or way to cook but this taught me a lesson. I plan on getting ready for any other weather related loss of power as in getting a generator and one of those gas wall heaters that are easily installed and require no ventilation.
Oh and a better snow shovel is right at the top of my list too. Mine pretty much blows.

www.komu.com did a pretty cool job of showing all kinds of neat pics of the blizzard.
