Comment, Blog about Share .Four people are behind bars after a search warrant at a Kingdom City residence uncovered a possible meth lab.

Sandra L. Ennis
According to Narcotic’s Investigator Sgt. Shannon Jeffries, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force served the warrant early Thursday morning.

Inside the County Road 215 residence, authorities found an active methamphetamine lab which used the “one pot” method.

Tylor J. Bradley
Jeffries said they were serving a warrant on Christopher E. Blechle, of Warrenton. The warrant was out of Lincoln County. According to Jeffries, when they entered the residence, they observed Blechle trying to flush evidence of the meth lab down the toilet which caused a small fire, likely from lithium metal reacting with water. Officers extinguished the fire.

Blechle and three other people were in the home at the time of the bust. Arrested with him was Brittany R. Stith, of Kingdom City, Tylor J. Bradley, of Columbia and Sandra L. Ennis, of Auxvasse.

Authorities also seized items from the home were consistent with an active meth lab, according to Jeffries.

Blechle was arrested for felony attempt to manufacture a controlled substance (methamphetamine), felony possession of a controlled substance, over 35 grams of marijuana, felony tampering with physical evidence. His outstanding warrant out of Lincoln County was for attempt to manufacture methamphetamine. He is housed at the Callaway County Jail.

Stith was arrested for felony attempt to manufacture a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, under 35 grams of marijuana. She posted a $5,000 bond to be released from the Callaway County Jail.

Bradley and Ennis were arrested for felony attempt to manufacture a controlled substance (methamphetamine). They are both still incarcerated.

Callaway County Has Been Pretty Active Lately Empty Maylee Case

Post  choppedliver Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:15 pm

I am finding the Maylee case to get more interesting with each and every news release. In the Fulton Sun, they have reported that Maylee was again denied a public defender, due to the fact that he had about $60,000 in funds that was transferred or given to someone else. This pretty much puts the entire process at a standstill.

They cannot try him without counsel, and he if refuses to hire said counsel, then they really haven't much of a choice but to give him a public defender.

I am hoping that he doesn't plead out, which he can't even do without counsel, as far as I know, so that there will be a trial. I would definitely attend this trial.
